Congratulations on your impending move to Houston! I am an undergraduate at Rice University and I was really excited to hear that you will be moving here. I currently co-head the academic society of my residential college at Rice, and one of our missions is to bring in speakers to expose students to different issues and viewpoints. I am a current undergraduate at Swarthmore College, studying psychology (focusing on humanistic/positive psychology, and economic psychology) and economics. The student body is extremely left-wing, as am I, but I try learn different perspectives and share them with the community.
