I&#039;d say if there was one area in which nostalgionomics should play a role it&#039;s the level of personal debt we see today, and the way that debt has inflated our perception of wealth.  Bad debt, bad investments, and too much credit has made everyone feel a good deal better off than we actually are.  If there&#039;s one thing we could move back to, and should, it&#039;s lower levels of personal debt, and a shift back to realistic microeconomics.</description>
