The quality goes up again when you've found a doctor who actually cares about you, listens to you, explains things to you, etc. This is not my experience of the big doctor-shack-type places, where they have a bunch of pretty young, relatively inexperienced doctors and I'm sure all kinds of incentives for those doctors to spend a minimum amount of time with each patient. Sometimes you just need a scrip, but sometimes you need more. There’s often a big advantage in terms of quality of care when you see the same doctor over and over.
