		<description>I am pro-immigration, but against guest worker programs. While comparisons to slavery are usually hyperbole, the strict delineation between citizens and guest workers somewhat resembles the sorts of social orders that arise in slavery.

If we need unskilled labor, then why not finally let the thousands around the world who are unskilled and would like to become permanent citizens serve that purpose. Temporary non-citizens seems like a dangerous way to make even greater social divisions between the native population and foreign immigrants.</description>
