I've been known to partake of some Jethro Tull now and then. I think I'll make this an anonymous post. If music - particularly rock music - is about creating an identity, nothing would make me want to run from this band more than that Pitchfork Review. "Overearnest" is an understatement. "So long as we're unable or unwilling to fully recognize the healing aspect of embracing honest. emotion in popular music, we will always approach the sincerity of an album like Funeral from a clinical distance." Whatever, dude. What-ev-er. We all have our vices. I’ve been known to partake of some Jethro Tull now and then. I think I’ll make this an anonymous post.

If music – particularly rock music – is about creating an identity, nothing would make me want to run from this band more than that Pitchfork Review. “Overearnest” is an understatement.

“So long as we’re unable or unwilling to fully recognize the healing aspect of embracing honest. emotion in popular music, we will always approach the sincerity of an album like Funeral from a clinical distance.”
